Silent Sanctuary

Newest single "Sagad" is out now. Formed in 2002, Silent Sanctuary is a 6-piece Filipino alternative pop-rock band. Recognized as one of the pioneers in mixing classical instruments such as cello and violin with band instruments, They introduced their trademark music dubbed as "Rockestra". Through the years, the band has produced four full-length albums namely Fuschiang Pag-ibig, Mistaken For Granted, Monodramatic, and Langit Luha. These albums produced numerous chart-topping hits such as Ikaw Lamang, Pasensya Ka Na, Kundiman, Hiling, and Bumalik Ka Na Sa’kin. Silent Sanctuary songs have also been featured in local OST’s of local movies and hit tv series such as Maalala Mo Sana, Balang Araw, and Sa’yo.

‘Nostalgic’ as many fans would always say, the band’s music and songwriting is also known for being anthemic with high school and college students, to which up to this day has transcended across the younger generations. Since 2017, they have performed outside of their homeland including UAE (Dubai), Singapore, Canada, and the United States. Having several lineup changes over two decades, Silent Sanctuary is currently composed of Sarkie Sarangay on vocals and guitar, Ronnie Ropal on bass, Allen Calixto on drums, Kim Mirandilla Ng on violin and back up vocals, Anjo Inacay on cello, and Poch Villalon on synth and back up vocals. This sextet just released their latest single entitled “Sagad”.
