The Swedish artist Teodor Wolgers is known for his signature blend of neoclassical piano and electronic ambient. With two conceptual albums and several EP:s on his resumé, he continues to curiously investigate contemporary human behavior.
He is now announcing the upcoming album Episod i Vikens kapell, due May 16th via [PIAS]. To connect with his departed grandfather Beppe Wolgers (beloved actor and poet) Teodor traveled to his favorite place and composed music inspired by his poetry. Recorded in one of the smallest chapels in Sweden the soundscape is a fine blend of Swedish folk, jazz and classical piano. The theme is deeply personal yet universal, exploring family bonds, relationships, and spirituality.
