It was the death of Freddie Mercury that first inspired Chris to take up a musical instrument. His parents were huge fans of Queen so, inspired, Chris thought he would be the next Brian May. Guitars and Chris didn't get along however and so a dusty old keyboard was found in the loft and it was suggested that he try that instead of the guitar... something clicked.

Chris’s musical influences span the world of pop, musical theatre and classical but it was his obsession with Mozart that first led him to compose. Writing music for for theatre shows, shorts, films, gaming and adverts, in 2014 Chris was signed by Lark Recordings where he began recording a diverse repertoire of piano arrangements and increasingly his own compositions. Being a largely self-taught and intuitive pianist, every piece Chris records in the studio is learned by ear without any sheet music in sight when he plays.

After gaining a following for his piano arrangements of Einaudi and other neo-classical composers, Chris released his first EP “Piano” 2015. Since then, Chris has released a further 6 EP’s and 2 Albums. His latest album “Piano + Chill” is a hypnotic blend of piano arrangements and original compositions. His music is gaining him a faithful following, particularly on streaming sites such as Spotify and has led to a number of sync opportunities.
