Ruhan Du Toit

Ruhan du Toit, best-known for his jaw dropping rendition of the popular Simon & Garfunkel hit, The Sound of Silence, definitely needs no introduction in music circles. His unique four octave vocal range and natural talent behind the guitar and various other musical instruments, have not only opened doors for him in the past, but have also cemented his place in the hearts and ears of South African and International music lovers.
The musician who grew up in Port-Elizabeth and now lives in Pretoria.
In 2012, he became the lead singer of the acclaimed musical duo, Touch of Class.
The music video of his rendition of The Sound of Silence, for which he has received numerous standing ovations, achieved great success online. Since its release in June 2016, it has been viewed by more than Six million people on YouTube.
To celebrate twenty-six years in the music industry, he has decided to resume his solo concerts in 2019. Therefore Ruhan decided that it is time for a new and exciting chapter in his life as a solo artist, he will forever be grateful for everything.
Ruhan has also been working very closely with Coleske Artists for the past three years and can be expected on stage at two of South Africa’s most prestigious music events, Afrikaans is Groot and Classics is Groot. His debut album as a solo artist will soon be available nationwide, but for now Ruhan is very excited to share his debut single ‘As Jy Dink Jy Weet’ with his fans.
