Tiny Leaves is the music of composer Joel Nathaniel Pike. His critically acclaimed instrumental music features beautiful string arrangements layered on top of piano and guitar-scapes with additional electro elements. There is an air of hope and beauty in his compositions.
His music has been featured by Nils Frahm on the iconic ‘Piano Day’ playlists and has toured with acclaimed U.S. artist Julianna Barwick. As well as his own acclaimed live shows, he has also shared stages with artists such as Hannah Peel, Peter Broderick, Get The Blessing, Haiku Salut, Sam Amidon and A Winged Victory For the Sullen.
His work has received global airplay on KEXP, WQXR, BBC6music, BBCRadio3 by Lauren Laverne, Hannah Peel, Gideon Coe, Stuart Maconie, John Kelly (rte), and Chris Hawkins and featured on New York’s Newsounds by John Schaefer. His music has been used in the Sony Experia ‘Run Your Way’ advert, ‘The Believer's stage production by Frantic Assembly, and was recently used in the South Korean documentary feature film “The Long Farewell”. His has been included on the 2022 official PIano Day album released by Nils Frahm's label and on the RSPB Simmerdim compilation sharing the line-up with David Gray, Cosmo Sheldrake and many more.
Mynd - Tiny Leaves' fifth album came out in June 2023 which he will be performing it live throughout '23-'24.
